Lessons about wealth from the bible

God has not created each and every one of us to suffer on earth, however he has provided all that a man requires through his son Jesus Christ who was made poor for us to be rich. In John 10:10 the masters says “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”. God has blessed us with all spiritual gifts but the enemy is not a rest trying to deceive God`s children and steal their inheritance. Sadly most people are so much concerned about how the devil operates but the master has told us it is finished. Jesus gave the authority to the church hence if you don`t like something in your life change it. 1st Corinthians 15:25 says “For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet”. This is so because we have received abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, therefore we reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.

Rich people don’t keep money around them. One may ask his or her rich friend for money and fails to get it, it`s because their monies is cash being used somewhere else. Rich people don’t keep money in the bank for safe keeping it’s mainly for transactionery purposes or investing. This can be shown from the greatest teacher of finances and wealthy. Mathew 25: 14-27. This shows us the parable of the talents where man called out to his 3 servants and gave them different talents according to their abilities. God gives us resources and materials according to the level of maturity of oneself. Just as your biological father would not give a 4 year old kid $5000 to use. It would be wastage, so God looks at the level of maturity in his word and then he can entrust you with greater tasks. The 1st servant was given 5 talents, second one 2 and the last 1. They were instructed to go and invest them to produce more. However when the master returned the 1st one brought 5 more talents, second one 2 more and the 3rd one the same talent which he was given in the 1st place. Remember this parable is likened to the kingdom of God, so this is how God operates. He said in his word the fruit that produces fruit he purged it so that it produces more fruit and the one that doesn’t produce fruit he cuts it. The man celebrated with the 1st and second servant. The 3rd one was told that at least he should have put the money in a bank and it would have earned some profit than digging it underground as he had done.

This lets us know that keeping money in the bank is the worst investment one can make. This days if you invest 20000000 @3% per annum you get 600000 which is less than a million (this applies to a savings account). Had it be a current account the money is just deducted monthly. If you are a student don’t be the latest consumer in town. If there is new I- phone 6 plus you want to have it. Make up your mind to have a company that is making it. Get your friends and start something, this also tells you the kind of friends to make. Are they possible business candidates or they are merely down graders. Most people that are given money loose it. The wisest thing to do is to ask for investment, let the one giving you the money be involved in your business. He or she will tell you ideas that could help you because already he has the experience. Sadly many people are selfish in this world hence they don’t make it. You have to know that not all of us are gifted in running a business, you may be gifted in supervising. After all you have been running it and it has not been growing well. Let’s aim to do something the lord has blessed us, the bible says of his fullness have we received.
